FREEBIE: Monster Mash Calligraphy Mini Workbook
It’s the most wonderful time of the yeeeeear! No, not Christmas… HALLOWEEN! If you’ve been following along for a while now, you know that I cherish Halloween above all other holidays. I mean, come on. You get to dress up, go to theme parties, beg for candy, drink too much… it’s basically the perfect day. I also have a list of movies I like to watch every year on Halloween, and chief among them are those old 1930s monster movies. Frankenstein, Dracula, The Invisible Man – I can’t get enough. In fact, one of the BEST birthday gifts I ever received was the year my husband took me to an art house movie theatre in a tiny Indiana town to see Bride of Frankenstein on the original 8 mm. Damn it, I love that man.
I know these days they don’t seem scary at all, but when they came out in the 1930s, these were some seriously spooky flicks. No one had ever seen special effects or makeup like that before, and it was truly terrifying. Today, we’re going to honor those cinematic masterpieces with a FREE mini calligraphy workbook that is all about – you guessed it – monsters!
The Monster Mash Mini Calligraphy Workbook features 8 words and phrases to practice, all paying homage to one of the great monsters of cinematic history. You’ll have the opportunity to practice your calligraphy… and make some pretty cool snaps for the ‘gram.
If you’re already a member of the Hoopla! Letters email list, this bad boy is already in your inbox! If not, you can join the list and get your free mini workbook here. Be sure to let me know what you think… and don’t get too scared.
Happy Halloween, everyone!
