Introducing Merrier Mail Art... Plus A Giveaway!

The holidays are coming fast and furious, and that means it’s time to start thinking about sending out your annual holiday cards! Whether it’s a perfectly posed photo of you and your family or a selfie of you and your cat, holiday cards are a great way to let people know you’re thinking of them… and gives them a chance to see your face after yet another year of masks and social distancing.

Last year, I had so much fun creating the Merry Mail Art course that I decided to make another! This new course, aptly titled Merrier Mail Art, includes 6 more holiday mail art tutorials, like…

Gingerbread House

Peace on Earth

Candy Cane

Merry & Bright

Gift Wrapped

Tree Farm

To celebrate the launch of this course, I’m teaming up with Skillshare to give away one premium annual membership - whoop whoop! Skillshare is an AMAZING place to get inspired, learn new skills and grow your curiosity. Before I was a teacher on Skillshare, I was an AVID student… I still am! With a premium membership, not only can you take every single one of my classes, but you can take classes from HUNDREDS of other artists and makers. It’s a community I love, and I know you will, too.

Now that I’ve got you stoked for Skillshare, let me tell you how you can win that membership.

STEP 1: LEARN. You’ll start by taking my class either here or on Skillshare (use this link to get a free week trial).

Step 2: MAKE. Make your own version of one of the tutorials, BUT instead of addressing it to your friend and family, address it to your favorite holiday character. Think Buddy the Elf in New York or Clark Griswold in Chicago. Have fun with it!

STEP 3: SHARE. Post a photo of your finished envelope on Instagram and tag me @hooplaletters by December 10, 2021. Each new post counts as an entry, and you can enter up to 6 times - one for each tutorial. I’ll randomly choose one of the entries and announce the winner on Instagram on December 11, 2021!

To get you excited for this course, I’ve got another surprise… you can view the Candy Cane tutorial for free below! I hope you enjoy these tutorials as much as I enjoyed making them, and I cannot WAIT to see what you create. Happy holidays!
