Want to create Pinterest-worthy holiday gift tags, greeting cards and envelopes? All it takes is a little calligraphy… and it’s easier to do than you might think! Getting started in modern calligraphy doesn't require the finest inks or the fanciest pens. All you need can be found in any first grader's cubby -- a Crayola marker! Join calligrapher Kimberly Shrack of Hoopla! Letters on Wednesday, December 2 at 6 p.m. MST/8 p.m. EST for a LIVE virtual workshop to learn how you can use Crayola Broad Tip and SuperTips markers to create your very own modern calligraphy masterpieces!

This LIVE virtual workshop takes place in Zoom, and is completely interactive! You’ll have the opportunity to show your work, ask questions and get feedback in real time. By the end of this 2 hour workshop, you'll have learned all the basics of modern brush calligraphy with Crayola markers, including proper brush mechanics, basic strokes and an uber-grammable lowercase alphabet.

And to make things extra festive, ('tis the season, after all), we'll end the class with tips and tricks for addressing show-stopping holiday cards! To keep the fun going, all participants will receive a holiday-themed downloadable PDF workbook to continue your practice at home.

Tickets are $20 and include exclusive access to a fully interactive Zoom room, 2 hours of instruction, a downloadable PDF workbook and access to a recording of the class. The only required supplies are Crayola Broad Tip or SuperTips markers and practice paper… that’s it! All students will receive a list of required and optional supplies with links upon purchase of class.
