Get a Hobby! New Classes for National Hobby Month
Did you know that January is National Hobby Month? If you’ve been following along for a while, you know I am a BIG proponent of having hobbies -- especially creative ones. The benefits of having hobbies go faaaar beyond a good time. They help you better manage your time, reduce stress and add a new facet to your identity -- seriously!
If you’re looking to kick off the new year with a new hobby, might I humbly suggest calligraphy? It’s inexpensive (most brush pens are well under $5), takes up very little space (unlike, say sewing or woodworking), can be done ANYWHERE (slip a pen and mini notebook in your purse and whip it out whenever you need a creative outlet), and because you already know how to hand write, you aren’t starting from zero.
